Dziuba House Moving & Lifting
Dziuba Building Movers is a third-generation company located in north central Pennsylvania. Throughout the years we've successfully moved buildings ranging from small cape cods to historical brick mansions and stone colonial homes weighing over 800 tons! We specialize in lifting and/or relocating entire structures such as single-family homes, large Victorian homes, commercial buildings, churches, cabins and barns constructed from all types of materials including wood, brick, stone, block, and steel.

We have encountered many situations where lifting or moving a home or building was the most viable solution. Some common situations include, but are not limited to:.
Services
In some circumstances, supporting a structure at its current elevation may be the best option.
If a building has a small section of its foundation that is faulty, Dziuba Building Movers can support that area so that it can be repaired or replaced.
DBM can also support a whole building or addition for foundation or subfloor replacement.
We have the experience & equipment to support any building safely, just as if it had a solid foundation under it.
For some projects, a lot of dirt work needs to be done to lift or move a building.
We have the excavating equipment it takes to dig out your old foundation so the masonry contractor can build you a new one.
If the building is being relocated, we can also dig a hole for a new foundation at the desired location and fill the old foundation hole in.
Note: For certain projects with minimal excavation needed, or that are a long distance away from our home base, it may be more cost effective to utilize a local excavating contractor.
Have you ever felt like you were running out of space in your home and contemplated building an addition?
It might sound crazy, but In a lot of situations lifting a house and building underneath it might be most cost effective way to add extra living space and boost the value of your home.
You also don't even have to give up any lawn space.
This house was built on a crawl space with about 5 feet of clearance between the ground and the floor joists.
Not only was it a total waste of space, but it made performing plumbing electrical repairs a challenge.
What should I consider when deciding whether or not a move is feasible?
Is it physically possible to move the house to the area you are considering?
Are there narrow or busy roads, bridges, utility lines, large trees, traffic lights or any other obstructions that would physically prohibit the move?
Although it is possible to have some of these things temporarily removed, it may not be financially feasible.
Some of our customers have had some utility companies offer to raise lines for free while others have given bids of $50,000 or more.
