I couldn’t be happier with my recent experience with Collegian Movers! From start to finish, the entire team was professional, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. Scheduling was smooth and straightforward, and the estimate they provided was accurate with no surprises at the end of the job.
On moving day, the crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and handled every item with care. It was a long day of moving (9am to 8pm) yet the team never stopped! They were respectful of my home, organized in their approach, and kept things moving without ever feeling rushed. I was especially impressed with their problem-solving skills when one piece of furniture didn’t initially fit through a doorway. Instead of forcing it or giving up, they came up with a smart solution to carefully take it apart and got it in safely before reassembling.
Overall, a top-notch experience. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional moving company. I’ll definitely use them again!

I had an excellent experience with Collegian Movers and I would like to thank Chris and Clemente for the great job that they did! These guys worked really hard and got our move done in a reasonable amount of time. They were pleasant and helpful in all areas, including moving some items around our house. They took great care not to damage items as well. I worked with George to plan the move and he was also helpful and informative. We recently hired Collegian to help us move from our apartment to our first home. The movers were on time, professional, and will go the extra mile to help out where they can. They even came with me to our storage unit to help move a large table. Of note, we had several delicate pieces of furniture to move and all were delivered in perfect shape.
The booking process was also very easy and no B.S and at the end it was a more than fair price for the work done. I would never even think of calling another moving company after this experience.

We had a great moving experience with Collegian Movers yesterday in East Haven, CT. Dwight and his crew pulled off a same day move out/ move in , in over 90 degrees heat all day .They were fast, efficient and very professional. They also stayed within our estimated time and left no mess behind. Highly Recommended!

Extremely professional and hard working crew that we hired for a big move into our new home and they gave the job 100% effort the entire day despite it being a very hot and humid summer day. They were very efficient navigating tight spaces with bulky items, and also getting a big moving truck into tight spaces. Shoutout to Chris and Clemente for a 10/10 job.
Also very accommodating front office when we had to reschedule the move a total of 3 times. When we scheduled the job we were also recommended different days that would give us a better price compared to the date range we had initially had asked for. Hourly rate we ended up with after that was at the average price for a two person job with professional movers and I felt was more than fair for the quality of work provided.

They were great! I've unfortunately had to use movers a few times over the years and when my son had to move, I set him up with Collegian. My experience from start to finish couldn't have been better. Fair in price and responsive to any question and concern. I previously used another mover I found on BBB. He was a crook and it was terrible. (I don't think those BBB ratings can be trusted)
I would definitely use Collegian again and I would recommend them to anyone. And I never write reviews!

In my experience, Collegian Movers Inc. is a first class company. Chris, my team manager, was professional, prompt, clear about what would happen and when, and attentive to every detail. Now mostly unpacked at my new home, I can say with certainty NOT ONE ITEM was broken or damaged. Chris worked well with his team, and managed my nervousness equally well. I would recommend Collegian Movers Inc. without reservation to anyone.

Collegian Movers were awesome, flexible, understanding, and professional. George, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and what’s more, saved me from utilizing another moving service with terrible business reviews and that would have likely up charged me (and wasn’t even local but instead one of those horror story moving brokers). For that alone I’m grateful, but then his awesome crew Aaron and Dwight were on time, professional, thoughtful, and expedient. They got my interstate (CT to MA) move done in 7ish hours and everything was as well handled / taken care of. I loathe moving so hope to not have to do it again, but if I did, I’d absolutely use Collegian again.

We were extremely satisfied with our decision to go with Collegian for our local move. The staff provide an excellent and thorough estimate and you know exactly what to expect for your move. Our team of movers who helped us pack as well as move over three days included leader Chris Pittman, Clemente Womack, Mike and Aaron. They were efficient, trustworthy and super hardworking over three days of physically demanding work and did not waste a minute of our time and money. They were also very nice and a pleasure to work with. We appreciated their careful attention to our belongings including our piano throughout the move. A big thank you to Chris and Clemente especially! We were completely satisfied with the job and would, absolutely recommend Collegian to others.

The move with Collegisn couldn’t have been better. It was a very long day. We moved from a large house to a small condo and dropped off half of the stuff at a storage facility. These 3 men showed up exactly on time. We were panicking because we were not ready. But they came in and got us ready. They helped us finish packing, organized everything appropriately. They knew what they were doing, were experienced. They were thorough, extremely organized, professional and great communicators. They took great care with my ‘fragiles’. They hustled, were masters at packing the truck and were pleasant and upbeat, despite our frustrations. Couldn’t have asked for a better team. The value for service was phenomenal.
