Moving is hard. There is a lot to do in a move. But in my opinion, it all can be reduced if you choose a good moving company. I hired Global trans van lines for my move and they managed everything very nicely. They took care of the packing, moving and loading of my belongings. Delivery was done on time and they helped to unload and unpack. It was great to see that none of my belongings were broken or scratched. They packed and wrapped it well. And the bill was perfect. I found these guys on the web and didn't know what to expect. It was easy to go through the estimate process. They took great care with my furniture and didn't waste any time. I called a few companies to get quotes and Global trans van lines was the best choice for me. All the guys were very polite and courteous and never slowed down. The unpacking and unloading went very fast too. They took a very short time to pack our things and the guys came on time on the moving day. The guys didn't waste time reshuffling stuff in the truck, rather they worked beautifully. They were experts on unloading too. I used plenty of boxes because I couldn't throw any of my belongings away. They nicely and carefully did everything. I have a king size bed and I thought it would be hard getting it down the stairs. But these guys are so good that they didnt even bump it. If I ever need to move again, I will definitely call Global trans van lines because my recent encounter with them was just great! They moved me so easily and quickly. I had little time in hand when I called them. They gave me the date I wanted and quickly sent a guy to give an estimate. The quote was good enough for me, so I hired them. On the day of the move, a foreman and 4 guys came to pack. It took a long time to pack because we had a lot of things. My wife and kids werent here so it was easy for them to pack. The quote was reasonable and in my budget. On the day of the move, four guys came to pack. They were very skilled and hardworking. They are superman in this field. There is nothing they can do. They did miracles when they moved me last month. They faced many problems such as, no lift, they had to park far away, run up and down the stairs a million times, couldnt get the coach out from the regular door and many other things. My wife and I looked a lot for an efficient moving company and we ended up with Global trans van lines because my cousin recommended them and also they have many good reviews. These guys know how to take care of you! I hired them last month for my cross country move and the way they took care of me was unbelievable! At first, they packed everything very nicely and with care. Later on, they carried everything on to their truck and they did not just dump everything. They have had my goods for officially one whole month today and refuse to give us an update on the location of them, an estimated delivery date, or even an apology. They promised 10-14 days originally, the contract states 21 business days, and at 30 days the contract is VOID. When I asked what will happen then, their response was "I don't know". You don't know?! We paid them $6500 so far and they are charging WAY More than quoted for. They haven't even offered to give us any credits or anything for the delay. I have called 30+ times and get the same run a round every single time. I do not recommend using this company, ever.
